Savant is a New York label making heavyweight essentials. The cuts are wide, the shoulders dropped, the hems often left raw. The palette is narrow on purpose: black, slate, bone, and the colors of earth.

We choose fabric by weight first. A tee should hold its shape on the body and soften over years, not weeks. Washes are applied so that color sits in the cloth with depth and variation, which means no two pieces come out exactly alike.

Every piece is made to order. Nothing is made until it has been asked for, so nothing sits in a warehouse waiting to be marked down.

Weight you can feel. Wash you can see.

01 The weight

Fabric chosen by weight first. Cotton and French terry up to 350 g/m², dense enough to hold a silhouette and to soften, not thin, with wear.

02 The wash

Mineral and sun-fade finishes. Color that sits in the cloth with depth and variation. No two pieces come out alike.

03 The cut

Wide, dropped, deliberate. Boxy through the body, loose through the leg, raw at the edge where it counts.

04 The making

Made to order. Nothing is produced until it is asked for, so nothing waits in a warehouse.
